Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary

Bentley's custom coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed an exclusive key case to celebrate the brand's centenary. It is constructed of Dark stained Walnut with Piano Black Veneer and includes a flying "B" paperweight, keys, and an unreleased booklet with 1930s 8 Litre images.

This is the perfect way to greet a new vehicle owner.

Aesthetics

Bentley is a firm that takes its aesthetics very seriously. It's evident in the precise positioning of its quilting, the choice of leather sourced from the by-products of cattle, timber from forests that are sustainably managed and the unique patterns on its levers. As you approach a car like the Continental GT W12, its beautiful sculptural design is highlighted by carefully selected lighting.

The Continental GT is Bentley's most sophisticated open-top car. Its rear tonneau, as an example, showcased the biggest piece of dark-stained, book-matched Burr Walnut veneer ever applied to an actual production Bentley. Similarly, the electrically-operated glass sunroof and champagne cooler that incorporated hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal bottles marked a new benchmark in luxury and innovation.

Bentley is the most sought-after automobile brand worldwide due to its distinctive design and workmanship. The firm continues to push the boundaries with the latest technology and craftsmanship, including the introduction of a digital instrument cluster as well as an electric tilt-opening rear glass sunroof, a custom-designed docking station for Apple iPads and electrochromic "smart" glass that can be switched between opaque and transparent at the touch of an arrow.

A century after its founding, Bentley - now under sole Volkswagen ownership after years of conflict with BMW was able to celebrate its centennial in the year 2019. Prior to pandemic planning taking center stage, the marque had a number of special events and launches planned to celebrate this milestone event.

Design

Bentley is a renowned brand for its extravagant and luxurious cars, but even keys are made to stand out. The Bentayga key is made from sterling silver. It has a large 'B' logo that let everyone know that you're a Bentley. The key is also embossed with the dates 1919 and 2019 to mark the company’s centenary.

Bentley Mulliner redesigned and redesigned the Mulsanne to be the ultimate Grand Touring vehicle. The rear seats were designed to give passengers unparalleled comfort and privacy. They were inspired by the luxury private aircraft. A custom heating, air conditioning and ventilation system has been developed to ensure each passenger has the ideal temperature control.

The Mulsanne has twin turbocharged 6.75 litre W12 engine that generates 560bhp and 479lb-ft of torque. This power is paired by a new suspension system that provides Bentley's trademark quiet ride.

In celebration of its Centenary, Bentley introduced a specific specification that is known as the Centenary Specification for cars manufactured in 2019. This includes contrast stitching and cross-stitching in Centenary Gold thread throughout the cabin.  bentley keys  are embroidered with Centenary Gold on the headrests, seats and other areas of the car. This enhances the celebration. The Centenary Specification also includes a personalized Bentley keycase, adding to the Bentley experience.

Function

The Bentley Mulsanne key comes with an opening button for the trunk and another which starts the car. It also has a switch to switch on the parking break. The knob can be used to fold or unfold the mirrors when parked in a tight spot. This feature makes it easier to get into and out of your car.

bentley arnage key fob  is made from vegetable tanned leather and takes about two days to make each one. The key is cut by hand, shaped by hand, stitched after which it is sealed and polished to produce a premium result. It is robust compact and fits the Bentley key perfectly. Its style is similar to the Volkswagen Phaeton large car's key however it feels heavier and has a more luxurious feel.

It also has Secure-A-Key, which helps prevent keyless entry theft. This device is placed inside the remote control fob, and disables it in the event that the key isn't used for a short period of time. It stops thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices which can be used to unlock and start the car.

Bentley's unique design reflects the company's values of exquisite craftsmanship, engineering expertise, and cutting-edge technology. The headquarters in Crewe house more than 4000 employees responsible for the design, development, and production of Bentley vehicles. These workers apply the skills that have been passed through generations to current automotive technology. This is British manufacturing at its finest.

Personalisation

Bentley's bespoke division, Mulliner, allows customers to essentially design their own vehicle. The guests sit at a collection of images called "mood stations" and pick a set of photos ranging from picturesque landscapes to sporting events that are inspiring to them to design their own. After each selection is made, a pattern is created and reveals the design and color preferences for the customized Bentley.

The configuration that is created is saved to individual R.F.I.D.-enabled key cards that are then presented to guests in a custom-made key case. Keys can also be outfitted with Bentley Muliner Personalised Welcome Lamps, which illuminate the door-opening pathway with the owner's name or emblem as they approach the vehicle.

Bentley estimates that it takes 500 man-hours on average to build and put together a Mulsanne.  bentley key replacement cost  for this lengthy effort is a reluctance to take advantage of modern technology. Instead of employing a machine for spacers to the perfectly matched cross-stitched leather seats workers at the Crewe factory do it by hand. And rather than using the car's built-in sensors to guide it into perpendicular and parallel parking spots the drivers must do it by hand.

In the course of the event, Bentley displayed its Mulliner personalization options with one of a kind that was the Mulsanne W.O. Edition, which pays homage to the man who founded the company, William Osler Bentley. The limited-edition cars come with a special key that displays a small portion of the 1930 8 Liter's crankshaft.
